Bedtime storiesthat light the way

Your child is the hero of a gentle Islamic story, written for tonight. Each one closes with a verified ayah or hadith, a dua to say together, and the Sunnah of sleep.

Free to start: the Stories from Islam and 10 personal stories a month, in English, French or Arabic.

Three steps to a story

A few choices from you, about a minute of waiting, and the story is ready to read.

  1. 1

    Choose who and what

Pick your child, and their siblings if they're joining. Then choose a value like patience or honesty, an occasion like Ramadan, or an everyday moment like a first day at school.

  2. 2

A story is written for tonight

Their name, age and interests shape a gentle tale in English, French or Arabic, illustrated in the modest style you chose. It takes about a minute.

  3. 3

    Close the night with light

Read page by page or press play for calm narration. Finish with a lesson, a verified ayah or hadith, a dua and the bedtime Sunnah.

أَمَانَة

Made with care for what matters

Four promises we keep in every story.

  • Sources are curated, never AI-written

Every ayah, hadith and dua comes from a hand-checked library, shown with its Arabic and source. The story writer can only choose from that list. It cannot quote or invent a verse.

  • Modest illustrations, your way

Faceless figures by default, scenery only, gentle characters or no pictures at all. Women are always in hijab, and girls wear one only if you choose. Prophets and angels are never drawn.

  • The Quran is never machine-recited

Narration reads the story and the meaning of the verse in a calm voice. Arabic Quran text is left for you to recite yourself.

  • Only what we need about your child

A first name, age, boy or girl, and a few interests. No photos, no surnames, no school. Delete everything at any time from Settings.

Stories and pictures are created with AI from your child's first name, age and interests, guided by our Islamic content rules. Read how we handle your data in our Privacy Policy.

Every story ends with light

When the last page turns, the story hands over to something lasting: one lesson to talk about, one verified verse or hadith, and one dua to say together.

These cards are from a sample story about patience: a boy whose kite string tangles in the palm tree, and who waits with his grandfather until the wind changes.

Tonight's lesson

Yusuf learned that waiting calmly is a kind of strength, and that Allah sends ease after every difficulty.

Talk about it before sleep

When was a time you had to wait for something? What helped you stay calm?

From the Quran

فَإِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا ۝ إِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا

“For indeed, with hardship comes ease. Indeed, with hardship comes ease.”

Quran 94:5-6

The sleeping dua

بِاسْمِكَ اللَّهُمَّ أَمُوتُ وَأَحْيَا

Bismika Allāhumma amūtu wa aḥyā

In Your name, O Allah, I die and I live.

Sahih al-Bukhari 6324

Then, the Sunnah of sleep

After the story, a short checklist walks your child through the Prophet's ﷺ bedtime habits. Tick each one together, then lights out.

  1. Make wudu

Go to bed in a state of purity.

    Sahih al-Bukhari 247

  2. Dust off the bed

Dust the bed three times with the edge of your clothes before lying down.

    Sahih al-Bukhari 6320, 7393

  3. Lie on your right side

Lie on your right side with your right hand under your cheek.

    Sahih al-Bukhari 247; Sunan Abi Dawud 5045

  4. Read the three Quls

Cup your hands, blow lightly into them and recite Al-Ikhlas, Al-Falaq and An-Nas, then wipe over as much of your body as you can — three times.

    Sahih al-Bukhari 5017

  5. Recite Ayat al-Kursi

A guardian from Allah stays with you through the night until morning.

    Sahih al-Bukhari 5010

  6. Say the sleeping dua

    Bismika Allāhumma amūtu wa aḥyā.

    Sahih al-Bukhari 6324

Who checks the verses and hadith?

They come from a fixed, hand-curated library: Quran translations follow Sahih International, and each hadith carries its collection and number. The AI only picks which one fits, from a short list for that theme.

What ages is it for?

Ages 2 to 12. Vocabulary and page length adapt to your child's age: very simple for toddlers, richer for older readers.

What will never appear in a story?

No depictions or voicing of Allah, Prophets, Companions or angels; no scary peril, magic, romance, pork, alcohol or other religions' festivals. Prophets may only be mentioned respectfully by a grown-up in the story.

Can I read stories in Arabic or French?

Yes. Choose English, Français or العربية for each story. Arabic stories use Modern Standard Arabic and read right to left.

Can I delete my data?

Any time. Deleting your account removes you, your children's profiles, every story, illustration and narration.
