Terms of Use
Last updated: 24 October 2026
These terms apply when you use Noor Stories on the web or on iPhone. Noor Stories is run by BHN Consulting. By creating an account you agree to them.
Your account
- You must be an adult (18 or older) to create an account. The account is for you, a parent or guardian, and your family.
- Keep your password safe. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
- You can delete your account at any time in Settings. See the Privacy Policy for what that deletes.
Free plan and subscriptions
- The free plan includes the Stories from Islam and a monthly number of personal stories, shown in the app.
- Noor Premium is an auto-renewing subscription, monthly or yearly, sold through Apple. The price is shown before you buy. Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm.
- If a free trial is offered, it turns into a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.
- The subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the period. Manage or cancel it in your iPhone's Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Deleting your Noor Stories account does not cancel it.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's rules.
- Each plan has fair-use allowances (stories, stories with pictures, narrations), shown in the app and on the subscription screen.
Acceptable use
Please use Noor Stories for what it is made for: gentle stories for your own children. Do not:
- enter content that is hateful, sexual, violent or otherwise unsuitable for children, or information about other people's children without their parent's permission;
- try to make the story writer produce harmful content, or work around our safety checks;
- misuse the service, for example by scraping it, overloading it, reselling stories in bulk or attacking its security.
We may refuse a request, or suspend an account, that breaks these rules.
AI-created content
- Personal stories and pictures are created with AI from your child's first name, age and interests, guided by our Islamic content rules, and checked automatically before you see them.
- AI can make mistakes. Please read or listen to a story before sharing it with your child, and tell us if anything is wrong or unsuitable. We will look at it.
- The stories made for you are yours to read and share with your family for personal, non-commercial use.
Our Islamic content approach
- Quran verses, hadith and duas are never written by AI. They come from a hand-checked library, shown with their source (Quran meanings in English: Sahih International; in French: Muhammad Hamidullah).
- The Stories from Islam are written once by our team, retold for children only from the Quran and authentic hadith listed in each story's sources, without invented details about Prophets.
- Illustrations never show Prophets, Companions, angels or the Kaaba's interior. The Quran is never machine-recited.
- Noor Stories is a storytelling app, not a source of religious rulings (fatwa). For questions of practice, please ask a qualified scholar. Our content is being reviewed by qualified people; corrections are welcome.
Availability and liability
We work hard to keep Noor Stories running, but we cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you in the app before it applies.
